Lunazul Surf School Cancellation Policy
Welcome to Lunazul Surf School. Our goal is to provide you with a seamless and enjoyable surf experience. Our instructors dedicate significant time and effort to each lesson, including travel and preparation to ensure they are available for your scheduled session. For this reason, we are unable to provide refunds in the event of a cancellation.
However, refunds may be considered under the following exceptional circumstances:
• If you provide a valid doctor’s note due to illness
• If the ocean conditions are exceptionally flat and there are no surfable waves
• In the case of thunder and lightning, when extreme weather conditions make it unsafe to conduct the lesson
Note: Lessons are transferable to another individual if you are unable to attend.
🌊 Surf Conditions Disclaimer
If surfing in a group, please note that the instructor will prioritize the needs of the surfer with the least experience or lowest skill level within the group to ensure safety and proper instruction.
While we strive to deliver an exceptional experience, please understand that surf conditions are beyond our control, as the ocean is constantly changing.
Lessons are conducted rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed unsafe by our instructors. If, for any reason, you choose to end the lesson early or cancel due to dissatisfaction with the surf conditions, a refund will not be provided.
🌎 Lunazul Surf School Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel, relocate, or reschedule lessons and surf trips when necessary. This is rare and typically occurs due to changing ocean conditions.
In such cases, we will make every effort to accommodate you by rescheduling your lesson or offering an alternative time.

🌊 Booking Deposit and Exceptional Circumstances: To secure your surf lesson times, a 50% deposit is required upon booking. This deposit is generally non-refundable, except in extraordinary situations such as extreme wave conditions, unsafe weather, or with a valid doctor's note. We do not grant refunds or reschedule lessons for late arrivals.
⏰ Time Is of the Essence: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled lesson to ensure a smooth and timely experience.
Surfing with Minors: Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign a liability waiver if required.
Please remember that Sayulita is a vibrant surf destination, and we look forward to sharing the stoke with you on the waves.
